Bosworld is a Web based spherical panorama project that I think of as a "virtual mural", owing to the fact I was inspired by historical murals and paintings. It is a work in progress, which I believe is the most honest way of describing work that remains in a purely digital form - yet I do expect to continue adding more to it. And even though I use the word "virtual" I don't want to suggest that the navigation is as sophisticated as anything like a first person shooter video game. Bosworld does allow panning and zooming interactivity...
The web project utilizes open source Javascript code from Marzipano.net, a tool for displaying 360 degree panoramic images. The imagery was developed on an iPad using Affinity Photo. It is divided and downloaded as 512 x 512 pixel tiles, so it may take a few seconds for the image to resolve. At various points when you zoom in, more details will appear.
Zoom in and out as you normally would on your computer. If you are on a touchscreen device you can drag a finger to pan and two fingers to zoom closer or further.
